After our morning excursion to Angkor Wat, we were driven to a docking area for boats taking tourists to a nearby floating village. Our captain looked to be about 10, and that age was confirmed in later conversation. He did a nice job piloting our craft through a low-water channel to the open waters of the Tonle Sap Lake where exist many Vietnamese and Cham floating villages. We spent several hours touring around the homes, and docking at a large platform complete with gift shop, food and observation deck.
