It has been a good week. The mission home was energized with incoming missionaries, finishing missionaries and transfers. Oh, if we could only bottle and sell that enthusiasm! This week's photos show a bit more of our neighborhood, with the last one depicting the South Zone missionaries with a visiting authority. Be sure to look for the lady in red. ;-)

A cafe on our street (#163) that caters to both Khmer and Viet. The number of motos parked in front correlates to the number of patrons.

A Buddhist temple ("wat") in our neighborhood. At some point we need to devote a separate section to the wats in Phnom Penh. There are many.

More boys playing soccer--some with shoes and some without but all with smiles.
Phnom Penh is a curious blend of the old and the new. It boasts upscale department stores next to down-scale repair shops. This is the Digi building across the street from our apartment. It is one of the many Internet service providers in the city.

Prominently located on the street corner, this is the home and shop just one building away from Digi World.
Here is a photo of a colorful lady (aka Sister Snyder) sitting next to Elder Kent D. Watson, a visiting General Authority and member of the Asia Area Presidency. Taken at the South District Center, the photo includes all missionaries in the South Zone.
