This photo shows Elders Ross and Matthews teaching English to a motivated group of youngsters and oldsters. Any U.S. teacher would love to have a class of such happy, enthusiastic learners. They meet once a week at one of the local church branches. Still struggling with basic numbers in the Khmer language, Elder Snyder was shamed by one of the students who was asked to use English to count all the people in the room. He immediately got to his feet and started counting, "2, 4, 6, 8" etc. Incidentally, can you see who is peeking from behind the column?
